Katie + Mark | Portland OR Wedding

I first met Katie while photographing another wedding back in 2018. She was a bridesmaid for one of my all time favorite weddings. When she reached out to see if I had availability for her own wedding, I was so excited! Everyone that was involved in the 2018 wedding were so much fun to work with and I just knew this wedding was also going to be nothing short of amazing. The moment that really made me look forward to this wedding though is when I got to go to Hood River, OR to do their engagement photos. Now I know I'm doing this a little backwards.. I should be sharing their engagement photos first because they are amazing!! However, this wedding was so incredibly sweet and heart warming.. I had to skip ahead a little haha.

Katie and Mark are the kindest people. I had so much fun doing their engagement shoot.. and Mark even brought some cookies that he had baked himself! They were delicious btw.. Anyway, I will share more about the engagement photos later. Back to the wedding...

Katie brought up the idea of having her actual ceremony at her childhood church to be able to better include her grandmothers. It was a beautiful ceremony full of love and family. And how special to be married in the church you grew up in!
